It was a chilly evening in December 1996, the 15th to be exact! We were both chatting on the internet, but of course, neither of us knew the other one existed. Robin made a call to Bill...no answer. She tried again...still no answer. One more time she thought...this time, Bill replied. After a short conversation, Robin asked if he would like to see a picture. Not having fallen off the fruit wagon recently, he replied, "I'd love to!!!" Robin sent a picture, and after Bill saw it, his first words were, "I think I'm in love!!!" That's how it all began for us. From that day on, we chatted on the internet at least once a day. One Saturday, we chatted for 13 hours straight!!! That must be some sort of record!! It was Christmas Day, and Bill asked Robin, "If I were to ask you to marry me, what would you say?" Without too much hesitation, Robin replied, "I'd say yes". Looks like we were on a roll!! Don't forget, that we still had not met one another. When we talked to our friends and family about it, they just couldn't understand how two people could meet and fall in love through the internet. We met for the first time in January 1997, and it was like we had known each other for a very long time. On the 28th of January, Bill proposed...down on his knees and everything!!! We began making plans for our Our Wedding day in December. Neither of us thought the day would ever arrive, but it did, and it was as beautiful as we had both dreamed that it would be...we were finally together as husband and wife!! Who says fairy tales don't come true?
